Helen Hanna Casey, president of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, will be awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Humanities from Carlow University this Friday, December 16 during their commencement ceremony, the company has announced.
“Helen Hanna Casey has used her gifts to better the lives of others and to promote the causes of education and opportunity for women,” said Dr. Mary Hines, president of Carlow University. “Carlow is proud to award her this honorary doctorate.”
Hanna Casey is a Carlow Woman of Spirit® and a former chair of the Board of Trustees at Carlow University.
This makes the second honorary degree for Hanna Casey this year, both of which reflect her commitment to women’s education. During the May commencement ceremony at her alma mater, Georgian Court University, she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Business.
Additionally earlier in the year, the REALTORS® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh presented Hanna Casey with the Distinguished Service Award for her commitment to delivering the ‘American dream’ to generations of home owners.
