Prudential Network Realty Supports Jacksonville Children

The team of real estate professionals at Prudential Network Realty’s Avondale and San Marco, Fla. offices are helping make the holiday season a little brighter for some Jacksonville children and families this year by supporting several charitable events and activities in the community, the company has announced.

Prudential Network Realty recently hosted a Kid’s Circle during Christmas in Avondale, an annual celebration in The Shoppes of Avondale and a magical community holiday tradition. During the event, Prudential Network Realty provided an area with special activities for children and also collected food for the West Jacksonville Food Bank. The Avondale and San Marco offices have been providing ongoing support to the West Jacksonville Food Bank since October, the company reported, when they learned the food bank was running low and unable to provide for the families it regularly serves.

To date, Prudential Network Realty has donated more than 85 bags of food, and the company plans to continue collecting donations until the food bank’s weekly needs are met.

“After hearing the food bank was too low to meet its weekly needs, we made a commitment to help,” said Avondale/San Marco Broker/Manager Sheron Willson, who also serves as Prudential Network Realty’s director of training. “Hunger is not acceptable in our city. There is an urgent need and we want to help.”

According to the company, the sales team is purchasing holiday gifts for several children they “adopted” for the holidays through Community Connections, an organization that offers a variety of services and programs to assist Jacksonville families and children. Prudential Network Realty’s Avondale and San Marco offices are helping to prepare the luminaria packages for the Riverside-Avondale Luminaria celebration, which will take place beginning at sundown on Sunday, Dec. 18.

The public is encouraged to drop off food donations for the Westside Food Bank to Prudential Network Realty’s Avondale office, located at 3627 St. Johns Ave., Jacksonville, Fla.
