In terms of real estate recovery, where does your market stand?
Our market is far more moderate than many areas around the country. We did not experience the large increases or decreases that were seen elsewhere. The modest price reductions we did experience have recovered, and we’re now seeing steady price levels, encouraging more prospective sellers to enter the market. Additionally, the state’s unemployment rate is less than four percent, and since jobs influence housing, our real estate market stands to benefit in the months ahead.

How are you working to get the message out that now’s a good time to buy?
Our outreach efforts to both home-buying and -selling consumers, and to the local media, speak to real estate as an excellent vehicle for creating wealth in this market. We’re engaging consumers with our website and instant chat service, as well as online buyer and seller articles and an instant pre-qualification app.
