Leading Real Estate Franchise Leverages Homes.com Technology with New Mobile Application

Homes.com and RE/MAX have re-launched the RE/MAX Real Estate Search app with version 2.0 for iOS in the iTunes Store and for Android in the Google Play Store. The app, totally rebuilt and with a user interface overhaul, utilizes the Homes.com mobile platform and technology. Redesigned with improved speed and functionality, the application includes easier navigation, an agent-branded search experience, and web-sync for saved searches. A leader in enterprise-level solutions, Homes.com continues to prove itself the frontrunner in providing innovative technology and solutions for high-profile real estate portals like RE/MAX.

The introduction of agent/client collaboration tools is one of the app’s main highlights for real estate professionals. In the past, it has been challenging for RE/MAX professionals to feel comfortable directing their clients to sites where they could potentially be forwarded to a competing professional. The agent/client collaboration that Homes.com designed for this app bridges that gap and allows for a consistent experience for the end user.

“RE/MAX and Homes.com have an amazingly successful partnership that continues to grow with innovative solutions,” says Brock MacLean, executive vice president of Homes.com. “In leveraging the Homes.com technology, new tools and resources are developed to benefit industry partners. We will continue to push the envelope so partners can take advantage of the comprehensive marketing solutions we have to offer.”

The mobile application was completely rewritten, focusing not only on usability and appearance but also speed and function. This gives consumers an immensely improved experience from the beginning of the search process to the final phase. Key improved features of the RE/MAX Real Estate Search App include:

● Agent Connection – By using a custom agent code, consumers can utilize the agent-branded app throughout the home search process.
● MyRemax – Searches saved on the app are now linked to desktop and mobile MyRemax accounts.
● Updated Map Search – Map views load first and display clusters of properties, allowing consumers to see all listing options at once.
● Balloon Views – All listings include a “balloon” aerial view.

“We felt it was important to create an easy way for RE/MAX agents to brand the app with their information when distributing it to their customers,” says John Smiley, technology strategy officer, RE/MAX LLC. “This new app, rewritten from the ground up by Homes.com, does that and much more.”

Homes.com and RE/MAX launched a strategic alliance in March 2012. Since that time, the two companies have jointly launched a suite of Homes.com-powered RE/MAX mobile applications for iPad, iPhone and Android devices, as well as the remax.com website.
