Reading Time: 2 mins read

Engel & Völkers announced recently the opening of its first St. George, Utah shop, extending the firm’s comprehensive global network and premier level of service to residents of the stunning area. The shop opened with 10 agents at Engel & Völkers St. George, further solidifying the firm’s presence in the Southwest marketplace.

Dougan Jones, Paul Benson, Scott Brackett and Mark Kelaidis are the owners of the new shop. In addition to St. George, the group also owns Engel & Völkers shops in Park City and Newport Beach with more openings to be announced over the next several months.

“Our new office in St. George effectively expands our Southwest footprint with strong leadership being provided by Dougan, Paul, Scott and Mark,” says Anthony Hitt, CEO of Engel & Völkers North America. “As the area begins to attract growing interest from international buyers, Engel & Völkers St. George will provide the resources and exclusive level of service necessary to best serve the comprehensive needs of both global and national buyers.”

Engel & Völkers St. George, with a main office situated at 172 North 100 West Street will provide leading services for buyers and sellers of premier properties in St. George and its surrounding areas. The area’s warm climate, notable recreation areas and close proximity to distinct geological areas, including the Mojave Desert, Zion National Park, and Bryce Canyon, have helped the St. George marketplace see increased interest from both Northwest and international buyers.

“Buyers are drawn to St. George because the city offers a respite from the hustle and bustle of larger cities in a location known for its exquisite landscape and proximity to national parks,” says Ellen Klein, Principal Broker of Engel & Völkers St. George. “As we continue to see the international community look to buy in the area, the global exposure afforded by Engel & Völkers’ network will be crucial in elevating St. George’s appeal in the international real estate marketplace.”

With the opening of Austin, Dallas, Houston, Beverly Hills, and Concord and, in Canada, Victoria, Calgary, Toronto and York, Engel & Völkers continues to strengthen its presence in the premium real estate market across North America. Additionally, Engel & Völkers continues to expand throughout the United States with planned openings in several new markets.
