Budge Huskey, president and CEO of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, demonstrated his unwavering commitment to the industry throughout 2024. His proactive response to the NAR settlement, included releasing a video that provided his candid and insightful analysis of the situation, rooted in his extensive industry expertise. He addressed and challenged the widespread myths circulating throughout the industry, which served as a powerful message of reassurance and provided clarity and accuracy to his team and beyond.

In response to the evolving landscape, Huskey introduced a companywide advisor certification program featuring six webinars, ensuring advisors were fully prepared for the changes. Rather than relying on state and association forms, he also created requisite new buyer agreements as mandated by the settlement terms.

Under his direction, Premier Sotheby’s International Realty launched the “Buy Confident” campaign—a comprehensive suite of tools and resources designed to support the firm’s global advisors. Huskey’s efforts have equipped his team with the knowledge and tools to navigate this significant shift with confidence.
