Always looking for ways to give back to her community, Charlotte Woodward went above and beyond in 2021, combatting the many challenges growing out of last year by highlighting some of the bright spots and good deeds around her. With previous experience marketing for non-profits like Habitat for Humanity and Make-a-Wish, Charlotte Woodward launched the BoomTown Give Back Awards last year, which highlights the positive impact of anyone doing good in the community (including animal friends) while simultaneously raising money for first responders, veterans, healthcare workers and teachers through the “Homes for Heroes” program.
“Now more than ever we need to celebrate the good in the world,” she says. And leveraging the power of connection and communication—along with her own powerful ability to bring people together and spread positivity—she was able to do just that in 2021, shining a bright light on the creative ways her friends and neighbors lift each other up.
