Eddie Blanco is a first-generation Cuban immigrant, broker and longtime real estate leader in Miami. After serving as 2023 residential president, he is now the 2024 chairman-elect of the MIAMI Association of REALTORSĀ® (MIAMI), the largest local REALTORĀ® group in the U.S., with 60,000 total members. He leads a group of 110 leaders, along with Gus Fonte, in the highest leadership roles covering six leadership boards.
In 2024, he led MIAMIās efforts in educating members on the inevitable MLS changes stemming from the NAR settlement. He also led MIAMIās media outreach efforts in communicating these industry-wide changes to the public, speaking with several media outlets and getting the MLSā message to members, real estate professionals and consumers.
In addition to serving as the founding president of the South Florida chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP), he currently serves as a director for the Florida Association of REALTORSĀ® and a director at the National Association of REALTORSĀ®.
