As head of strategy at Realogy, Eric Chesin led the inception, design, development and launch of Realogy’s TurnKey program in collaboration with Amazon.
Originally piloted in Orlando, Fla. and officially launched in July 2019, the home-buying program pairs Realogy’s real estate expertise with Amazon’s unparalleled reach and commitment to customer service. Through TurnKey, homebuyers are rewarded with up to $5,000 in Amazon products and services when they close on a home with participating agents from one of Realogy’s top brands. News of the announcement was well received, garnering over 2 billion media impressions across TV, print, radio and online media during the first week of launch.
“When we designed TurnKey, we recognized that ‘closing’ on a home is really just the beginning of the home-buying journey,” said Chesin in a July statement. “We are proud to team up with Amazon to extend the value we bring to buying a home beyond the moment you first unlock your new front door.”
Currently live in 15 major U.S. cities (at press time), TurnKey is an example of Realogy leveraging its scale and assets to deliver differentiated value to its agents and their homebuyers and reflects the contribution that Chesin and Realogy’s Strategy Office has made to the company and, more broadly, the real estate industry.
Entering with a background in disruptive innovation and management consulting, Chesin joined Realogy in 2017 and created the Strategy Office. In his role, he oversees corporate strategy and analytics and leads a team responsible for incubating Realogy’s strategic pilots, projects and partnerships.
