James Dwiggins is the chief executive officer of NextHome, Inc., located in Pleasanton, Calif. As CEO, Dwiggins leads the company in its goal to revolutionize the real estate industry, and has made massive growth since starting his franchise four years ago.
In 2018, NextHome announced its 300th office location, an incredible milestone for a young franchise. Currently, NextHome has over 320 offices in 43 states with more than 3,000 agents. At present, Dwiggins’ focus is on ensuring each NextHome franchise integrates with today’s real estate landscape and exceeds the needs and demands of today’s consumer.
Dwiggins also has a real estate technology background. In 2006, he co-founded VREO, Inc., the developer of groundbreaking internet applications for agents and brokers that pioneered biometric signature software for paperless transactions. He also co-founded USA Virtual Tours, growing the company nationally until its acquisition in 2001.
On his success, Dwiggins says: “Be the leader you want the rest of your team to be; in other words, lead by example. Instead of just telling people what to do, jump in on a project and do it with them. When your team sees that nothing is beneath you within the organization, you’ll earn the respect of everyone in your company and you’ll inspire them to do amazing things. Your people will end up driving the success of your company.”
