John Scappaticci

As broker/owner of Realty Executives First Choice, John Scappaticci listens, encourages his team and makes himself available to help when needed. He has a hands-on approach and works closely with all of his executives. Scappaticci promotes under-promising, over-delivering and building relationships to grow the business. He believes that supporting his team has inspired them to be dedicated and has led to the success of the business. 

Prior to founding Realty Executives First Choice, Scappaticci had a long career as a carpenter and project manager working in all aspects of construction. He entered the real estate industry in 2007 to work with his fiancée, Shona, at RE/MAX. In 2009, the couple purchased a Realty Executives franchise and worked alone at a small, leased location. The business grew over time, and the owners purchased a building in Winnipeg, and opened a new office in 2010. They bought and renovated the building next door to expand the company’s footprint in 2012. 

Realty Executives First Choice has seen steady growth and has had 30 executives for the past three years. What sets Realty Executives First Choice apart is its use of social media to connect with consumers. The team posts pictures, videos and listings online to connect with the 77 percent of Americans who have at least one social media account.
