And while this became increasingly challenging as the pandemic threatened to cut people off from their colleagues and treasured connections, Van Eck succeeded by finding unique, innovative ways to connect those he serves.

Most exciting has been the heartwarming stories and experiences he shares through a morning talk show he launched with a colleague, bringing a daily dose of advice and casual conversation to agents.

Through initiatives like this, Van Eck made sure 2021 was not defined by its challenges, but by the continued empowerment of real estate professionals to forge connections in a changing world.

“Brokers and agents have so much opportunity to foster the relationship with those around them by making people feel good and using technology and tools to create exposure for the good they put into the world,” says Van Eck.
