His long-running Real Estate Matters radio show on WINA-AM/FM earned multiple statewide broadcasting honors in 2025 for in-depth reporting, continuing news coverage and excellence in diversity, equity and inclusion—spotlighting critical conversations around affordable housing and community development.
Beyond the media, Guthrie remains actively engaged in shaping the profession’s future. He continues to teach across the Commonwealth as a Graduate, REALTOR® Institute faculty member and serves as Chair of the CAAR Foundation Board, advancing efforts to create sustainable affordable housing opportunities. In recognition of his enduring service and impact, Guthrie was honored with the Virginia Realtors® Good Neighbor Award and inducted into the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors® Hall of Fame during 2025.
