As Chief Product and Technology Officer at eXp Realty, Scott Petronis oversees the identification and delivery of world-class technology that supports the company’s needs, while maintaining the systems and technologies that run the business. The company has created an environment where technologists and businesspeople work together in small “innovation teams” to quickly identify opportunities, define applications and process improvements and deliver solutions. 

Petronis is instrumental in eXp World, a cloud campus where over 13,000 agents and more than 250 staff members can go to communicate and learn. He also collaborates with the team on in-house tools and services to help agents work more efficiently. Petronis shares the credit for eXp’s technological success with his team.

Before joining eXp Realty, Petronis worked as a product leader at MapInfo, which was acquired by Pitney Bowes. He was also CPO at Onboard Informatics, which was acquired by Attom Data. In that role, Petronis helped deliver innovative products for residential real estate companies across North America. Since 2012, Petronis has been actively involved in industry technology projects, including working with the Real Estate Standards Organization and leading the Web API initiative from inception to adoption.
