RISMEDIA, Jan. 3, 2007-Weidel Realtors announces that Scott Monaghan, executive vice president and general manager, has been named to the TREND Board of Directors for a two-year term beginning on January 1, 2007.
TREND creates, hosts and maintains the multiple listing service (MLS) by which over 32,000 real estate professionals share information on properties for sale from Kent and New Castle Counties in Delaware; Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer and Salem Counties in New Jersey; and Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties in Pennsylvania. TREND also designs and maintains a Public Records system with records information, mortgage data and more. These systems are accessed on-line through the TREND Web site, www.trendmls.com, which also provides help, product information and news for TREND members.
The Board of Directors, known in the MLS community for its diversity, is composed of various Brokers, Owners and Associates throughout our region. The Board promotes cooperation within the entire real estate community and advances TREND's goal to unite Realtors®, keep MLS costs low and provide superior MLS services. The Board meets several times a year to discuss industry issues, legal updates, educational events and other real estate related topics.

Monaghan has been a real estate practitioner since 1973 and is a licensed real estate Broker in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In addition, Mr. Monaghan has a wealth of experience in the areas of real estate investment, mergers & acquisitions and as a national sales trainer and consultant.
