Central Georgia MLS Deploys Online Transaction Management to Its Members

RISMEDIA, May 8, 2007—Fidelity National Real Estate Solutions, a division of Fidelity National Financial, Inc., a Fortune 500 provider of products, services and technology solutions to the financial and real estate industries, and the Central Georgia Multiple Listing Service
(CGMLS) have announced the deployment of Fidelity’s TransactionPoint(R) system throughout CGMLS’ member network.

“TransactionPoint will enable our agents and brokers to more efficiently and professionally handle the entire real estate transaction process, from listing through the closing process,” said Leon Collins of Collins Real Estate in Byron, Georgia. “The end result will be more informed and satisfied buyers and sellers, who will have online access to status, key events, and pertinent documents related to their real estate transaction.”

TransactionPoint is an automated transaction management solution that organizes, reports and secures every activity and document in a real estate transaction as it provides 24/7 access to authorized parties involved in the sale. According to the company, by centralizing documents, it increases accuracy, improves communication and eliminates duplication, while offering better monitoring of required services and regulatory compliance.

TransactionPoint seamlessly integrates with Fidelity’s Paragon 3 MLS platform, now used by more than 225 of the nation’s MLS organizations.

Paragon customers that add TransactionPoint to their platform, like CGMLS, will be moving their agents closer to a seamless, end-to-end transaction solution.

“A strong attraction for Central Georgia MLS to adopt the Paragon platform was that Fidelity is integrating many products and services used by real estate professionals, allowing data to be shared without re-keying the same information for each program,” said Collins. “Agents can pull MLS data directly into TransactionPoint to create a transaction or pull data and documents created in ZipForm(R), further reducing multiple entries of information and the possibility for error.”
