Point2 Expands Real Estate Listing Syndication Network

November 14, 2007, 5 pm
Reading Time: 3 mins read

RISMEDIA, Nov. 15, 2007-Point2 Technologies Inc. (“Point2”) expanded its real estate listing syndication network with two new live feeds from the Company’s Point2 NLS (National Listing Service) to high traffic real estate search sites Zillow and Cyberhomes.com, Fidelity National Real Estate Solutions’ real estate portal and listing content source for AOL Real Estate, the company said.

According to the company, the feeds provide to Zillow and Cyberhomes site visitors access to tens of thousands of Point2 NLS rich listings that feature an average of over nine photos each.

Drawing listings from Point2 NLS’ 160,000 real estate broker and agent subscribers, the feeds are expected to drive incremental traffic and leads to the Point2 community, while potentially delivering significant operational efficiencies to Cyberhomes and Zillow by enabling them to automatically draw and maintain hundreds of thousands of listings, through a single source.

“We are very excited about the addition of Zillow and Cyberhomes as syndication options for Point2 NLS members,” said Brendan King, chief operating officer, Point2 Technologies. “With their participation we have been able to accomplish deep data integration which will give our members a great deal of data exhaust, which Point2 NLS presents in an automated format.”

“We are able to bring back the analytics from our partners, and build a predictive model for each consumer based on their browsing behavior. Point2 NLS actually provides relevant, timely and expected communications to consumers based on their browsing, on behalf of our agents and brokers,” added King. “This system gives to Point2 NLS members great peripheral vision into consumers’ needs and their social graph. Point2 is the only system that today allows agents and brokers to reach upstream, connect early and build an online relationship with tomorrow’s consumer in such a manner,” King concluded.

“We’re proud to announce these two new complete feed partner integrations. Our members will not only have the ability to view statistics for their listings, but they will also have publishing reports that show them and their clients exactly where the listings are on Zillow, Cyberhomes and its partner, AOL Real Estate,” said Jeff Tomlin, vice president of strategy and business development, Point2 Technologies. “We’ve learned that ‘fire and forget’ does not work. That is, you cannot just send a listing feed to a search site and forget about it. The analytics are valuable and if the agent, broker or their client cannot easily find the listings, data syndication becomes more of a hassle than a benefit. Point2 NLS publishing reports solve this issue.”

Added Tomlin, “We’re further excited to be able to offer this solution to MLSs, real estate associations and franchise groups through our new Enterprise solution launched recently. It’s an exciting time at Point2.”The company says that Point2 NLS now aggregates 145,000 listings in its database. On average, an additional 1,500 listings are added to the system daily, reflecting the on-going rapid growth in the Point2 NLS membership. 1,000 additional members continue to join Point2 NLS each week.

According to the company, Point2 NLS simplifies real estate marketing online by enabling real estate professionals and organizations, on an opt-in basis and completely under their control, to advertise and maintain listings across major real estate portals, as well as on thousands of Point2 NLS member Web sites, simultaneously, with a single click of the mouse. Up to the minute online traffic analytics and reports provide instant access to critical data, enabling quick, effective decision making for both broker and agent, and their clients.

The free service also allows real estate professionals to leverage their listing data assets to launch world class Point2 Web sites and blogs, export listings to any other vendor Web site or blog, create and export automatic virtual tours, and automate world class listing presentations and brochures.

Built-in advanced predictive marketing-based lead incubation and prospect notification text messaging enhances user productivity and optimizes responsiveness and conversion.
