RISMEDIA, Feb. 5, 2008–After 25 years of operating a successful independent real estate firm, Walter Hibbs and 21 Dunlap-Hibbs Realtors, will join forces with Prudential Connecticut Realty and will move into Prudential’s Fairfield, Conn. office.

“Prudential Connecticut Realty leads the industry with cutting edge marketing technology and innovative web-based resources,” said Walter Hibbs broker/owner of Dunlap-Hibbs. “As a small company, we found it difficult to keep up with today’s real estate technology. Our clients will benefit greatly from all Prudential has to offer and I am looking forward to experiencing the advanced technology Prudential Connecticut Realty has developed to maximize its client services.”

Hibbs has represented buyers and sellers in and around Fairfield, as well as other parts of the county, throughout his real estate career. He has served three terms as president of the Fairfield Board of Realtors, two years as president of System 1 Real Estate Network and was on the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Association of Realtors. Currently, He serves on the Board of Directors of the Fairfield Board of Realtors.

“The partnership between Prudential Connecticut Realty and Dunlap-Hibbs will prove very beneficial to buyers and sellers in the Fairfield area,” said Candace Adams, President of Prudential Connecticut Realty. “Their hometown service and area expertise, combined with Prudential’s international recognition and incredibly innovative marketing systems and web presence, are the perfect combination for success.

Hibbs will assume leadership of the Prudential Fairfield and Southport offices, which have consistently earned Prudential’s Flagship Award. “Walter’s 33 years of real estate sales and management experience, along with his appraisal background, will prove very beneficial in bringing this highly successful team to even greater levels of success,” said Adams. In related news, Prudential Connecticut Realty also announces that Carsan Company GMAC Real Estate has joined the company. Susan Nilsen and her team will continue to occupy the office on North Main Street in Marlborough in partnership with the Prudential Connecticut Realty office in Glastonbury.

“We are thrilled to be adding a Marlborough location to our statewide network of offices, said Candace Adams, President of Prudential Connecticut Realty. “With 28 years of experience, Carsan Real Estate has built an outstanding reputation and acquired unparalleled market knowledge and expertise,” Adams continued. “Our office is a perfect fit with the Prudential organization,” added Susan Nilsen, Broker/Owner of Carsan Real Estate. “We share the same business philosophy of providing excellent customer service and maintaining high professional standards.”

Carsan Real Estate has represented buyers and sellers east of the river for more than 28 years. The firm has an impeccable service standard and a stellar reputation among their clients. Each of the Realtors in the office enjoys a 100% customer service rating, according to Premier Service survey results, and the entire office has been honored with a Diamond Award for service excellence.

“The partnership between Prudential Connecticut Realty and Carsan Real Estate will greatly benefit the residents of eastern Connecticut,” said Adams. “The residents of Marlborough will continue to enjoy Carsan’s hometown services, including their signature free copy and faxing services, combined with the expanded reach of Prudential Connecticut Realty’s state-wide, regional and national networks.”
