Prudential Gary Greene’s Teusink Nabs Top Spot in Managers Association

February 13, 2008
Reading Time: 2 mins read

RISMEDIA, Feb. 14, 2008-Sharon Teusink, manager of the Champions office for Prudential Gary Greene, Realtors is following up a successful 2007 in which her office was named No. 1 in the company for listings taken and closed production with her recent elevation to president of the Texas Chapter of Certified Real Estate Broker Managers.

Having been a part of the organization for 15 years, Teusink said she still benefits from its educational and networking opportunities.

“It’s an excellent group, and I really like giving back to the industry and taking time to help my fellow managers,” she said.

In her new role, Teusink will moderate an education session entitled “Coaching in a Changing Market” at the Texas Association of Realtors winter meeting. She will also help coordinate the Texas CRB’s annual convention set for September in San Antonio.

In addition to her new duties with the Texas CRB, Teusink has also been named to serve on the Board of Directors for both the Houston Association of Realtors and the Texas Association of Realtors.

The company says that Teusink’s excellent managerial skills have helped her office become one of the most successful in and around Houston. For the last seven years she and her team have been ranked No. 1 in listings taken and closed production for Prudential Gary Greene, Realtors. She credits her team of approximately 110 Realtors for the office’s success.

“They’re very high-producing, ethical and client-oriented, and they get a lot of repeat business,” Teusink said. “I also have a wonderful support staff that I’ve been able to keep throughout the years. They are immensely important in helping the agents with their business.”

She said she looks for very specific qualities in her Realtors before bringing them on board. “I look for people who are entrepreneurs, who are team players, who are ethical and willing to do what it takes to give superior customer service.”

The Champions office was also named a Cornerstone Office- a national Prudential Real Estate distinction for high-producing offices.
