Martin Strelecky Named VP of Old Republic National Commercial Title and Settlement Services

RISMEDIA, August 28, 2008-Martin Strelecky has been elected to the position of Vice President of Old Republic National Title and Settlement Services (ORNTS) in its Seattle office. The election was effective August 15, 2008.

The Old Republic National Commercial Realty Services Division was formed in June of 2008 in order to expand Old Republic’s national footprint within the various segments of the national commercial real estate market. Its National Commercial Title and Settlement Services business unit in Seattle is one of several business units that comprise the National Commercial Realty Services Division, which is a part of Old Republic’s National Services Group, and a member of the Old Republic Title Insurance Group.

“Strelecky will be responsible for the growth and development of the National Title and Settlement Services Division and will concentrate on providing title insurance and closing services for large, multi-site and other complex commercial real estate transactions in the state of Washington and throughout the United States. He has 25 years’ of experience; 15 of which are in the title insurance industry, and 10 years in private practice of law, where he concentrated on real estate and business transactions. He brings a depth of experience and knowledge to this new position, and to the complex world of commercial transactions, ” states Marion Aaron, Sr. Vice President of Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.

Strelecky will work closely with the newly-formed Seattle, WA, National Commercial Team, which consists of Valeria Rodruck, Manager; Cathrin Weis, Commercial Escrow Officer; Richard Booth, Commercial Title Officer; and Steve Cory, Commercial Sales Representative.

Strelecky is a graduate of the University of Illinois in Urbana, IL, where he was awarded a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Mathematics. He received a J.D. from DePaul University School of Law in Chicago, IL.

Strelecky is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Washington. He is a member of the American and Washington State Bar Associations, and serves on the Board of the Pacific Real Estate Institute as its Secretary. He also is a contributing author to the Washington State Real Property Deskbook.
