Coldwell Banker United, Realtors Joins Forces with Realty World Lake & City

RISMEDIA, Sept. 17, 2008-Jeffrey Wheeler, president and COO of Coldwell Banker United, Realtors and Tony Monticello, owner of Realty World Lake & City, announced that Realty World Lake & City will become a part of Coldwell Banker United, Realtors and become the Lake Norman-South Office for the company.
Coldwell Banker currently has an office in Mooresville with 36 agents, which will become the Lake Norman-North Office. Realty World Lake & City is located in Cornelius and has 16 agents. The company, formed by Monticello in 2002, provides luxury real estate services to the high-end markets in the Lake Norman, West Cabarrus and Charlotte marketplace.Together, the two offices will serve Lake Norman communities in Catawba, Lincoln, Mecklenburg and Iredell Counties.

Tom Martin, senior vice president for Coldwell Banker United, Realtors, said that while many offices and companies are pulling back, Realty World Lake & City and Coldwell Banker are pushing forward with expansion and growth plans.

“Realty World Lake & City has had great success in the Lake Norman market,” Martin said. “By combining our forces and streamlining our resources, we really expedite our plans for growth in the Lake Norman area.”

Monticello said, “We’re excited to become part of the Coldwell Banker United, Realtors family. This move will give us access to more tools, including relocation, marketing, training and Internet systems that will greatly enhance our impact in the marketplace for both our clients and our agents.”

In addition to the Lake Norman area, Coldwell Banker United, Realtors serves the Greater Charlotte area, including Concord/Kannapolis, Union County and neighboring Statesville and South Carolina Rock Hill and Fort Mill.
