Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Acquired Home Sellers, Inc.

RISMEDIA, March 24, 2009-Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England announced that it has acquired the assets of Home Sellers, Inc., in South Portland, Maine. Home Sellers’ operations in South Portland and Boothbay Harbor, Maine, will be combined with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s existing Portland office. Home Sellers will now operate under the banner of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England.

Lucille Holt and Adrienne Murphy will continue in their roles as the Portland office sales managers for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and will oversee the newly combined offices. Alan Peoples, the former owner of Home Sellers, Inc., will serve as a sales associate in the Portland office.

“I am proud to welcome Home Sellers’ accomplished sales team to our organization,” said Rick Loughlin, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England. “With the addition of these talented real estate professionals, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage continues to grow and strengthen its presence in Maine.”

Home Sellers was founded in 1988, and its 22 sales associates accounted for more than $17 million in total closed sales volume during the last 12 months. Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage operates 90 offices with more than 4,000 sales associates in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. In 2008, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England accounted for nearly $10 billion in total closed sales volume.
