Century 21 Real Estate Launches Innovative Tool Giving Customers Instant Web Traffic Analysis of Their Online Home Listings

RISMEDIA, December 6, 2010—Century 21 Real Estate LLC, the franchisor of one of the world’s largest residential real estate sales organizations, introduced “The Golden Ruler,” a new reporting tool for online property visibility. The Golden Ruler provides a detailed analysis of consumer views and leads resulting from the expanded visibility of Century 21 home listings, which typically appear on over 500 real estate industry and aggregator websites.

Designed to help Century 21 sales professionals better communicate online marketing visibility results with their customers, The Golden Ruler is an innovative approach to supporting agents and home sellers.

“In the age of digital marketing, you must prove to consumers that their home is being marketed effectively online,” said Bev Thorne, chief marketing officer, Century 21 Real Estate LLC. “Through this dynamic new reporting tool, Century 21 brokers and agents can further demonstrate the tremendous advantages of marketing consumers’ homes for sale through the Century 21 System.”

According to the 2010 NAR Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, 92% of first-time home buyers use the Internet in their home search. The Golden Ruler provides detailed analytics on every website where Century 21 listed homes are marketed, including page views, visits and leads. It also provides information about where consumers who are visiting the online listing are located geographically and how similar properties are performing within the Century 21 network of websites.

“As the NAR survey indicates, the vast majority of buyers are searching for a home on the Internet, and accordingly, home sellers demand and deserve to know that their home will be marketed effectively online from contract to closing,” according to Thorne. “Through The Golden Ruler, Century 21 sales professionals are uniquely positioned to provide this valuable information in an easy and convenient manner for their clients.”
