RISMEDIA, March 30, 2011—Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC has promoted Wendy Forsythe to senior vice president of network services, the company has announced. Forsythe will continue to lead the teams responsible for providing products, tools and services to the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate network of more than 7,000 sales associates and 196 offices serving home buyers and sellers in 21 states. Most recently, Forsythe served as vice president of network services, where she helped to build the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate brand.

RE/MAX Senior Counsel Adam Scoville has been appointed to the board of directors of the International Trademark Association (INTA), a worldwide association that supports and advances trademarks and intellectual property as elements of fair and effective global commerce, the company announces. Scoville, who joined RE/MAX in 2005, has been active with INTA for over seven years, and also serves as vice chairman of INTA’s Internet Committee. The committee, which he helps run, is active in advocating for policies and protections against abusive domain name registrations and phishing, along with other Internet frauds that employ major brand names

Jennifer Marchetti has joined Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC’s management team as vice president of marketing and communications, the company reports. Marchetti will report to Sherry Chris, president and CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC, and will be responsible for brand marketing strategy, direct, online and franchise sales marketing, and public relations. Most recently, Marchetti served as Wyndham Worldwide’s vice president of marketing and innovation for the Wyndham Family of Brands as part of a nine-year career at the global hospitality company and its parent company, Cendant Corporation.

RE/MAX, LLC has promoted two key executives, according to the company. David Metzger will assume the role of chief operating officer in addition to his current responsibilities as chief financial officer for RE/MAX. William Soteroff is promoted to executive vice president, U.S. and International Regional Development, taking on domestic regional development in addition to his current role developing RE/MAX globally.

Network Communications, Inc. has promoted Adam Brown to vice president of custom publishing solutions for the company, the firm announced. Brown’s promotion is in recognition of the key contributions he has made in the last two years growing revenue and profitability within Network Communication Inc.’s custom publishing brand. Additionally, Brown has created new marketing solutions for advertisers and revenue for NCI through the development and roll out of their Home Tour product.

For his hard work and dedication, Mike Reagan, senior vice president, Brand Marketing, for the RE/MAX Network, has been elected to Children’s Miracle Network Board of Governors, the company reports. Children’s Miracle Network raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals. Through a special RE/MAX program, RE/MAX offices donate a portion of each home sale to Children’s Miracle Network, and many offices hold special fund-raising events every year. The money raised in each location stays in that city to benefit patients of the Children’s Miracle Network hospital in that community. RE/MAX is only one of a few corporate sponsors to reach the $100 million milestone.
