RISMEDIA, April 19, 2011—Leading brokers and innovators will share strategies and reveal critical opportunities for growth in today’s market at RISMedia’s 6th Annual Power Broker Forum & Reception at NAR Midyear next month. Taking place on Thursday, May 12th, at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C., the Forum, titled Opportunities and Innovations for Real Estate Brokerage Firms, will be held in the Marriott Ballroom Salon 3 from 3:30 – 5 p.m.

“The Midyear Forum is an extension of our acclaimed Power Broker Forum held at the NAR Annual Conference each year,” explains RISMedia President & CEO, John Featherston. “This is an unparalleled chance to hear from those experts who are in the trenches, evolving their businesses for the current real estate climate in order to increase revenue and position themselves for success moving forward.”

This educational session will examine how some of the industry’s leading brokerage companies have reinvested in their firms and are repositioned to succeed in today’s changing economic environment. Attendees will participate in discussions surrounding the opportunities and innovations impacting today’s real estate professionals as well as learn from a panel of industry experts what Power Brokers are doing to take advantage of the changing marketplace—driven by today’s demanding and sophisticated home-buying and selling consumers.
