Realtors Property Resource Announces 500,000 REALTORS Milestone

RISMEDIA, May 14, 2011—REALTORS® Property Resource™ (RPR), a subsidiary of the National Association of REALTORS®, has reached the significant milestone of enrolling over 500,000 REALTORS®; from more than 274 MLSs across the country. With the latest addition of executed contracts, the RPR database now will include over 1.5 million listings.

RPR’s MLS outreach plans have seen a marked increase since the launch of the web application in September 2010. Since January 1, 2011 RPR has executed contracts with MLS’s representing over 180,000 REALTOR® members. In March both MRIS representing over 46,000 members and CRMLS representing over 32,000 members, executed an RPR contracts, bringing RPRs coverage of the nation’s largest MLSs into greater focus. More recently, MLS partners include TREND MLS representing over 32,000 members, REALTOR® Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale representing 7,300 members and Empire Access MLS representing 6,200 members, marking the total number of REALTORS®, represented by RPR contracts at 504,395 as of May 6, 2011.

“Since the launch of the RPR last fall, MLSs have continued to see high value in the RPR application for their members”, says Dale Ross, CEO of RPR. “The offer of robust data sets, analytics and reports all available through a nation-wide property database—at no charge to the members—is essential to the our member’s success given today’s economic challenges. RPR saves Brokers and agents time and money, while giving them tremendous single source access to dynamic property information.”

RPR President Marty Frame says, “It’s gratifying to see that MLSs representing over half of the countries’ REALTORS® have voted to deliver the RPR to their members. New products and initiatives specially designed for NAR member segments such as the Broker Tool Sets, RPR Commercial, and the RPR Data Share platform for MLSs have proven to be a great benefit as we have begun to introduce them to the members. We’ve worked hard to gain the confidence of the industry and it’s gratifying to see the response to RPR’s member benefit value proposition”
