RISMEDIA, June 6, 2011—Five real estate Multiple Listing Service (MLS) organizations and associations in the states of Arizona, Florida, New Mexico, Pennsylvania and South Dakota launched national property listing syndication programs with Point2 this month, Point2, a leading provider of real estate marketing and syndication solutions has announced.

Offered completely free of charge to real estate MLSs and associations, the Point2 solution was chosen primarily on i) the merits of the scope and size of the Point2 syndication network, ii) unique, free analytics and traffic monitoring tools for end users, and iii) a stringent data management and security component, also free of charge, designed to monitor and ensure compliance with data publication protocols, and data accuracy across Point2’s network.

Point2’s new clients, representing over 5,500 property listings and 1250 brokers and agents include Taos County Association of REALTORS® (NM), Aberdeen Board of REALTORS® (SD), Carbon County Association of REALTORS® (PA), Green Valley/Sahurita Association of REALTORS® (AZ) and Venice Area Board Of REALTORS® Inc. (FL).

“We welcome our new clients to Point2,” said Saul Klein, senior vice president, Point2. “As our syndication network and data feeds continue to grow, we’re constantly investing in expanding and optimizing our product and service offerings to exceed customer expectations and further extend our technology leadership in the marketplace.”

“Syndication gives our brokers and agents a powerful new edge with completely free online advertising, a great new alternative in today’s market,” said Cherry Montano, Association Executive, Taos County Association of REALTORS®.” “The branding and listing exposure our members will gain on Point2’s network of 60 consumer portals will far exceed that of any one major real estate website alone.”

“Point2’s data management, distribution and monitoring processes offered us a unique, powerful syndication solution with peace of mind. Their systems systematically monitor the use and accuracy of our data, and effective follow through is executed by their teams while we concentrate on running our business,” said Janie MacDonald, Executive Officer for Green Valley/Sahurita Association of REALTORS®. “Such a comprehensive solution, from a single provider, entirely free, makes it that much more valuable and an easy choice as such.”

Commented Marlene Merkle, Executive Vice President, Venice Area Board Of REALTORS®: “We are excited about bringing Point2 syndication to our membership. Not only is it a free service for MLSs but it also covers online traffic reports, a key tool for brokers and agents. We look forward to all the benefits the added visibility will deliver to our members.”

“When we examined the top alternatives, Point2 stood out with a team of dedicated professionals with demonstrated commitment and programs that over the years consistently supported the success of REALTORS®,” said Kari Harrison, Executive Officer, Aberdeen Board of REALTORS®. “It’s the optimal ‘no surprises expected’ partnership for our organization.”

“Point2 was head and shoulders above the rest. From planning to integration and roll out, the process was effortless,” said Kathy Henderson, Executive Officer, Carbon County Association of REALTORS®.

The roll outs announced today increase the number of MLSs and associations that syndicate listings on the Point2 network to over 240 organizations, and support a growing call by brokers and agents for wide yet well managed publication of For Sale property listings on high traffic consumer real estate sites in North America.

Each day, Point2 syndicates over 1.1 million real estate listings generated from nearly 240 MLSs and associations, to more than 60 consumer portals, search engines, classified and auction sites, and delivers millions of click throughs, leads and online traffic reports each year back to the listing agents and brokers, free of charge.
