RISMEDIA, September 1, 2011–On Sunday, August 14, Delaware’s local daily newspaper, The News Journal, published “Top Workplaces 2011” – a list of the best places to work in the state. Patterson-Schwartz Real Estate was ranked ninth among mid-size companies (100-499 employees) placing the company in the top ten for two years in a row.
The evaluation for the Top Workplaces program was based upon an initial nomination and subsequent feedback from an employee survey that was distributed electronically. One-hundred companies participated in the program but only 50 companies were selected for the Top Workplaces award.
Patterson-Schwartz scored highest in the area of direction with employees citing their confidence in the company’s leadership and strong values in ethics.
