Prudential Network Realty sales professionals Dennis and Kathy Lang, a husband and wife team from the company’s Beaches office in Atlantic Beach, recently participated in The Art of Movement benefit, the company has announced. The event helped to raise more than $1,300 in support of the Cummer Museum of Arts and Gardens VSA Festival.

The VSA Festival provides arts and educational opportunities for people with disabilities and increases access to the arts for all. Each May, the Cummer Museum welcomes more than 2,300 local students with mild to profound special needs during its four-day VSA festival.

“Prudential Network Realty professionals are leaders in the community, and they have a giving spirit that guides the company,” says Christy Budnick, executive vice president of residential real estate, Prudential Network Realty. “The Langs exemplify professionalism, dedication and creativity by using their yoga talent and passion to support community charitable outreach. Their efforts are inspiring.”

According to the company, the Langs led a Mindful Yoga practice during the weekend benefit held at the J. Johnson Gallery in Jacksonville Beach. With the gallery’s current exhibition focusing on line and movement as a backdrop, the Langs’ multi-level class integrated a blend of balanced energy, awareness and alignment. The Mindful Yoga practice is a moving meditation, linking breath and postures, leading into stillness.

Both certified instructors of Yin and Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Dennis and Kathy Lang have practiced yoga for more than eight years and teach numerous classes and workshops in Northeast Florida including charity-based practices. They are also among Prudential Network Realty’s top producing agents and recipients of Prudential’s prestigious Honor Society awards.

“Kathy and I were so proud to be a part of the Art of Movement benefit,” says Dennis Lang. “Yoga can be very artistic as breath and movement are combined with awareness and intension. We are passionate about sharing our love of yoga and its many benefits with others, and we like to use our yoga teaching and practice to support others and benefit the community in a positive way.”
