Murney Associates, REALTORS® of Springfield, Missouri takes their office mascot seriously. The first four legged office greeter, Topper, a black lab, celebrated his birthday in style every year. The office held a party off-site in his honor, and all of the agents and staff participated enthusiastically. After Topper’s passing, Jeff Parker, managing broker, started bringing his dog, Cadey to work. According to Jeff, “Agents also bring their dogs to work, and I believe this pet friendly policy creates a much happier workplace. Humor is injected, too, when Cadey is heard sleeping – English bull dogs tend to snore!”
Roberts Real Estate, Inc. in Ocala, Florida has a unique twist on this workplace perk. Currently, there are three cats in residence at the office.
