How is your market doing and what challenges are you currently confronting?
The number of transactions is up 20 percent year over year and we’re seeing a slight increase in sales price, probably averaging somewhere in the 10 percent range overall. The biggest challenge right now is lack of inventory. Multiple-offer situations are on the rise and buyers and sellers are angry because the market is frenetic and unstable—one house sells in two weeks with 20 offers, and two houses away, a listing could sit for two months with no activity.
