That’s why a real estate broker who engages in visual storytelling—especially when on Facebook—will see the impact that imagery has on alluring clients to your content.

Extracting meaning from information can come in many forms of visual media, be it photography, illustration, or video. By using Facebook to its fullest potential, all of these visual storytelling assets can be further enhanced with themes, memes, nostalgia and polls to increase interaction with your audience.

Earlier this year, Facebook made a smoother path for real estate brokers to utilize visual storytelling by revamping its news feed, allowing for a cleaner design, a unified user experience across all platforms and larger and more prominent images.

The savviest brokers know that planning, creating and owning a visual identity on Facebook is going to be even more important now that the company has put images at the forefront of users’ news feed experience.

The Cover Photo
If there’s one thing that social media sites have proven is that people respond to visuals more than anything else, which is why creating visual engagement is so important. One of the easiest ways to do this is through the use of a creative cover photo, which is the large horizontal picture on your timeline that takes up almost a quarter of the screen.
