Century21.com Ranks Top Visited Real Estate Franchise Website

Century 21 Real Estate LLC announced recently that Century21.com has become the No. 1 “most visited” real estate franchise website. According to comScore, Inc., a global leader in digital measurement and analytics, Century21.com attracted more unique visitors than any other real estate franchise brand site in every month of 2013.

In fact, Century21.com holds a commanding lead in the number of unique website visitors in 2013 with 25.3 million for the entire year, which was approximately 10 million unique visitors higher than the next-closest national franchise brand. In a year where the industry average for all real estate sites was a 1 percent gain in total unique website visitors, CENTURY 21 posted a 49 percent year-over-year increase.

“The latest comScore numbers validate the appeal of our website capability and functionality and of our ongoing marketing efforts that have effectively positioned our agents to consumers as being Smarter. Bolder. Faster.,” says Rick Davidson, President and CEO of Century 21 Real Estate LLC. “This means that Century21.com helps to deliver more leads to our CENTURY 21 professionals. Visitors to our site are able to search by school, create listing alerts, and sort and filter data using interactive mapping tools that zoom, pan or draw on specific neighborhoods to secure relevant market data. It’s a powerful user experience that we are proud to deliver to consumers around the world.”

“With over 90 percent of homebuyers searching online during their home buying process, it is imperative that technology continue to be a major part of our marketing strategy,” explained Bev Thorne, chief marketing officer, Century 21 Real Estate LLC, who helped guide the company to numerous industry awards for innovative marketing campaigns. “In the years ahead we will leverage emerging technology that engages real estate consumers when and how they consume property data, connect them directly to our CENTURY 21 brokers and agents, and help all parties transact real estate more efficiently.”

The company has a long history of being at the forefront of technology. In addition to the awards it received in 2013 for its SimCity Facebook campaign, the company launched its global website at century21global.com. That site currently features property listings from 30 countries with 36 currency conversions and 16 foreign language translations (visitors to the global website are not included in the comScore.com rankings.) Plus, both Davidson and Thorne were recognized in the 2013 list of The Inman 100 Most Influential Real Estate Leaders and the Swanepoel Power 200 list of the most powerful people in residential real estate.

In 2011, Century 21 Real Estate LLC was named The Inman News 2011 People’s Choice Award for Innovator of the year, “a testament to the CENTURY 21 System’s commitment to serving the needs of the next generation of home buyers and sellers through the delivery of superior innovations.” Inman noted the company’s @C21 – Home Matters, a company blog, a redesigned website, a new version of its iPhone app and a suite of apps for other platforms, including Android, BlackBerry and Palm devices.
