Recently, the Billings Association of REALTORS® (BAR) launched Billings.org, a consumer real estate search portal powered by Point2. The new website uses data from the BAR Multiple Listing Service (MLS) to provide consumers and real estate professionals with the most accurate real estate listing information in Billings, Mont.

The Point2 MLS & Association Consumer Portal developed for BAR allows users to search for homes for sale in Billings by area, price and features, including property type, number of bedrooms and more. Listing detail pages provide supplementary photos and descriptions, as well as neighborhood demographics and comprehensive maps. The website is mobile-friendly for efficient access by today’s on-the-go consumers.

The site also spotlights a “Find a REALTOR®” tool designed to foster the connection between agents and home buyers and sellers. The listing agent’s contact information is prominently featured next to each property on Billings.org.

“The Billings Association of REALTORS® is excited to offer a vibrant, consumer-centric website—with all the bells and whistles—that makes searching for your new home fun and enjoyable,” commented BAR Executive Officer Mary R. Grant. “Point2 is extremely easy to work with and provides up-to-date technological features and support.”

In addition to easy-to-use real estate search tools, Billings.org provides several features designed to further enhance the online experience for real estate agents and other website visitors. One example is the “Quality of Life” page that highlights non-profit partners that bring value to the nearby community.

As an added service, an events calendar provides BAR members with information about upcoming meetings and educational opportunities.

“Congratulations to the leadership of the Billings Association of REALTORS® for seeing the future of real estate and taking strides towards becoming an online authority today,” said Saul Klein, industry principal at Point2. “MLS and association public portals are in demand across the country for the value they provide to both real estate professionals and consumers. Point2 is excited to bring this service to the members of the Billings Association of REALTORS® and the public.”
