For Rent Media Solutions™ and Homes.com® director of social media, Erica Campbell Byrum, has been named to PRNews’ inaugural Social Media MVP list, recognizing outstanding professional communicators in the social media space. Byrum will be honored at the PRNews’ Social Media Icon Awards luncheon June 2 at the Grand Hyatt in New York City. This is the first year that PRNews, a top public relations industry publication, has honored its annual Social Media MVPs.
Byrum will share the title of MVP with several notable trailblazers from industry-leading companies, including Jennifer Stalzer from MasterCard, Joy Hays with AT&T and Kevin Dando from PBS. All MVPs made incredible strides in understanding the power of leveraging social media in public relations efforts. Through social media, training and national speaking engagements, Byrum engages closely with consumers and customers on a daily basis. Successfully leveraging several social media platforms and staying ahead of newly introduced trends and technology, Byrum has pioneered several notable efforts for both brands. She is responsible for developing and managing the social media roadmap and strategies for both Homes.com and For Rent Media Solutions’ brands, such as ForRent.com®, and does so with a strong passion for social media marketing.
In addition to receiving this prestigious award, Byrum will also speak at the upcoming Social Media Summit. She will be covering social media goals, objectives, metrics and targets in “Tech You Need: Trends in Social Media Monitoring and Measuring Tools You Need to Know About Now” at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 3.
