John L. Scott Real Estate, one of the largest regional real estate companies in the country, has announced that Chief Financial Officer, Phil McBride, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer.
As the new Chief Operating Officer, McBride’s responsibility of the company’s finances will remain unchanged. John L. Scott’s Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Facilities, and IT departments will continue to report directly to him. He will now also be tasked with operational oversight of each department in addition to creating opportunities for John L. Scott to grow and move forward as the real estate industry continues to evolve.

McBride currently sits on the Board of Advisors for the John L. Scott Foundation. He has been married for 37 years and has two grown children. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing and running. He ran the Boston Marathon in 2014 and has qualified to run again in 2015.
