Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Kansas City Homes Inks Exclusive Agreement with Gale Communities, Inc.

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Kansas City Homes (BHGRE Kansas City Homes) recently announced an exclusive agreement with renowned Jackson County real estate developer Dave Gale, president of Gale Communities, Inc. As part of the agreement, Gale Communities’ current new home properties, including New Longview and the five neighborhoods of Winterset, will be added to BHGRE Kansas City Homes’ portfolio and five accomplished sales professionals from the Gale Team will be joining BHGRE Kansas City Homes’ Lee’s Summit office. The Gale Team has an established history of serving customers across both Kansas and Missouri, selling more than 26 million dollars in real estate last year.

“Dave Gale and the Gale Team epitomize professionalism in our industry. They approach real estate with passion and focus on creating communities that truly match the lifestyle needs of home owners in Kansas City,” says David Cooper, president of BHGRE Kansas City Homes. “In fact, each of them, including Dave, has personally chosen to live in one of the Gale Communities. That speaks volumes.”

Located in Jackson County, Missouri, these award-winning new home communities are among the finest built in the Midwest:

  • New Longview – Located on Lee’s Summit’s west side, New Longview boasts more than 260 acres and has become Kansas City’s fastest growing Traditional Neighborhood Design community. It is positioned within close proximity to coffee shops and restaurants, activity centers and stores, as well as Longview Community College, providing its residents with a close-knit, village center feel to the area. Known nationally for its exquisite architecture, New Longview has received numerous awards for its aggressive efforts in preserving the historic architecture, both in restoration of original buildings and construction of all new buildings. The best example of this may be the conversion of Longview’s historic show horse arena into the award-winning Longview Elementary School. New homes range from $200,000 to mid-$800,000 and include Craftsman, Victorian, Tudor and Colonial exteriors, boasting the same architecture made famous in areas like Waldo, Brookside and Hyde Park, all reminiscent of J.C. Nichols and the historic Country Club Plaza. Residents can enjoy Longview Mansion as a featured backdrop, as well as more than 50 acres of parks and natural acreage, tree-lined boulevards, walking and biking paths, and trails.
  • Winterset – With a mission to preserve the natural environment, this 1200-acre, master-planned community features new homes ranging from $320,000 to $1.5 million and is the first in the Midwest to receive the coveted “Global Relief Community” designation for its careful land planning, sensitivity to preserving the natural environment, and environmentally sound construction techniques. Winterset offers its active homeowners a governing association for its five neighborhoods, including Winterset Summit, Winterset Woods, Winterset Park, Winterset Garden and Winterset Valley.  Phase 30 is now open in Winterset Valley.

“We have always focused on providing quality lifestyles to our homeowners,” says Gale. “Being part of BHGRE Kansas City Homes was a natural fit and will enable us to continue to deliver superior service.”

Lee’s Summit Broker Steve Banks will oversee the new team of sales professionals, as well as the marketing of Winterset and New Longview.
