Earlier this month, Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® held its annual conference, drawing 2,000 agents from 200 firms in more than 20 countries to discuss industry trends, cutting-edge technology, and most important, leadership.
Held at the prestigious Wynn hotel in Las Vegas, the conference—held February 11 to 13–offered separate conferences for brokers, senior managers and relocation professionals as well as sales associates, luxury specialists, sales managers, and marketing and technology professionals.
“The Annual Conference brings together the brightest minds in the real estate business, who come to learn from one another, be motivated by thought-provoking speakers and gain insights on how to be even better at what they do,” said LeadingRE President/CEO Pam O’Connor.
Featured speakers included member panelists, as well as experts from a variety of other fields whose knowledge and experience can directly be translated to help today’s real estate professionals. These speakers included former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, whose presentation focused on “Principled Leadership in the Face of Change and Crisis”; best-selling business author Peter Sheahan known for inspiring innovative business thinking and creating lasting behavior change; former chief economist for CNBC Marci Rossell; generational authority Travis Robertson, a leading expert on working with the next generation of home buyers and sellers; memory training expert Ron White; real estate analyst Stefan Swanepoel known for research on the changes and trends impacting the real estate industry; social scientist and author Eric Klinenberg and star of HGTV’s Income Property Scott McGillivray.
Numerous awards were doled out to real estate companies showcasing a variety of different accomplishments, from the most outgoing revenue-generating referrals to the most outgoing closings.
Next year, the conference will be changing pace, relocating from Las Vegas—where it has been housed for the past several years—to Miami.
