Homesnap Announces Agreements With ARMLS®, NorthstarMLS®

Home News
May 9, 2015
Reading Time: 3 mins read

ARMLS®, which supports 32,000 subscribers in the Phoenix metropolitan area, and NorthstarMLS®, which supports 15,000 REALTORS® in Minneapolis and Western Wisconsin, have both signed up with Homesnap Pro. The pair of MLS servers join many multiple listing services (MLSs) across the country, including 8 of the top 20, who have partnered with Homesnap since its Pro app was made available last July.

Homesnap Pro provides an intuitive mobile solution for MLSs who want an app that can provide real-time data to their agents on the go. Its interface replicates the user experience that agents have come to expect from the mobile apps they use every day. New features like the Homesnap Pro Safety Timer and the “How Am I Connected” graph, which tells agents how they are connected through past transactions to any other agent in their MLS, make Homesnap Pro an even more compelling mobile platform.

When an MLS signs up with Homesnap, every member receives a free agent-branded app to share with his or her clients.

“We are thrilled that ARMLS®, one of the five largest MLSs in the country, has chosen to provide Homesnap Pro to its subscribers. ARMLS®’s choice cements Homesnap’s position as the leading mobile app in the industry. We look forward to getting ARMLS®’s agents on board and using the app,” said Homesnap CEO and co-founder Guy Wolcott.

“We’re very excited to partner with NorthstarMLS®, which is known for visionary leadership and a high level of service to its subscribers. This partnership provides more evidence that MLSs see Homesnap Pro as a smart and cost effective way to provide a leading mobile app to their members. In a matter of weeks, we can turn on Homesnap Pro for any MLS, giving their subscribers an app they will love,” said Homesnap CEO and co-founder Guy Wolcott.

“One of the features in Homesnap that particularly caught my attention is the client collaboration tool. Agents can share the app with their clients and contacts with a single tap of a button on their phone or tablet,” said John Mosey, President and CEO of NorthstarMLS®. “These buyers and sellers will then be able to view IDX data along with a wealth of other property-related information that comes with Homesnap in much the same manner as a user of the Pro version. Best of all, the consumer gets all of this listing and other property data courtesy of the agent who invited them within an app branded to that agent.”

Homesnap Pro provides an unprecedented amount of real-time information to agents on the go, giving them the flexibility to research homes, interact with each other, and collaborate with clients from their mobile devices. With Homesnap Pro, agents and consumers can use the same platform to seamlessly share real estate information and communicate with each other in the same place they search. Some of the features of Homesnap Pro include:

  • Real-time access to agent-only MLS information, including confidential listing information, showing instructions and commission splits
  • Information about any home (whether or not for sale), such as value, last sale date and price, listing history, “bird’s eye” lot boundaries, similar active listings, recent sales comps, and local schools
  • One-tap messaging with clients and other agents
  • Customized email marketing to clients and contacts
  • Rapid Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) generation right from the smartphone
  • Complete details on every agent in the area, including a portfolio of recent sales and an analysis of sales history (price reduction, days on market, etc.)
  • In-app integration with showing scheduling platforms
  • Agent Safety Timer and one-tap Distress Alert to keep agents safe at showings
  • “How Am I Connected?” to other agents

Using Homesnap Pro, information is only a snap away. In addition to searching by map, address, or home criteria, real estate professionals can also take a picture of a house and the app automatically pulls information from the MLS, public records and other sources.
