Century 21 Real Estate Introduces Interactive Self-Study Business Courses

CENTURY 21® Real Estate recently announced that it is bringing to market two new business self-study courses that take online learning to a new, interactive level. C21® University students are able to access these courses on any device, and at a time and place convenient to their schedules. Additionally, they will be able to participate in discussions with other peers and have instructors/coaches curate additional content based on their collective comments and questions as they progress through multi-week courses.

To enable this shift to just-in-time learning, David Birnbaum, vice president, learning, Century 21 Real Estate LLC, noted that the brand is adapting courses to the Udemy for Business platform.

“Udemy for Business helps enable C21 University to move from traditional just-in-case learning, which is a content-centric, one-size-fits-all model that dominated learning for many years, to just-in-time learning which is learner-centric, where they access content when, where, and how they need it, to the future of just-for-me learning, a business-centric, adaptive, personalized experience with no-fee C21 University instructors and coaches,” Birnbaum notes.

Delivered under the auspices of C21 University(sm), initially two new proprietary courses will be powered by Udemy for Business, a recognized leader in on-demand, online learning solutions. The focus of the first course launched in April, (Recruit-2U) is to help C21® affiliated brokers and office managers attract and retain sales associates. It is a 9-week blended program with the goal to develop a consistent and systematic process they can manage every day. The second course, (Self-Paced Create21), is expected to launch in July. This 4-week program’s objective is to provide new-to-the-business sales associates with the tools, expertise and confidence needed to achieve immediate and sustainable production as they build their own successful real estate sales business with the CENTURY 21® System. It is a self-paced, alternative to CREATE 21®, the brand’s successful live course for new sales associates.

“We are pleased to collaborate with and bring value to a forward-thinking company like CENTURY 21 Real Estate,” says Paul Sebastien, vice president and general manager at Udemy for Business. “CENTURY 21 Real Estate is a pioneer in real estate education, and Udemy is proud to work together with C21 to help enhance its learning programs.”

The mission of C21 University is to deliver a comprehensive education program – both online and in-person instruction — to ensure all affiliates have access to resources they need to stay competitive. Udemy for Business is designed to offer relevant, on-demand skills training anytime, anywhere.
