Scott MacDonald, broker/owner of RE/MAX Gateway has formally announced that he has acquired full ownership of all RE/MAX Gateway offices.
“I’ve had a great run with my partners,” MacDonald says, “but now they want to focus on building and growing their teams and helping their clients, which we know they will do as well as they did as my partners. I want to wish them the best as agents with us here at Gateway.”
When asked what’s next for RE/MAX Gateway, MacDonald says, “Infinity and beyond! Wait – that has already been done. I guess I am going to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in September this year. After that, we have exciting plans – one of which includes an office in One Loudoun. Stay tuned for more. RE/MAX Gateway is always looking for key people. MacDonald began his professional real estate career in 1988. In 2001, he embarked on a new course and joined the RE/MAX network, as an owner of RE/MAX Gateway. As the company grew, new partnerships were formed, new offices opened and new professional heights achieved.
MacDonald has helped people buy and sell homes in Northern Virginia for over 25 years, served the real estate community, fellow agents and brokers by participating on various local and state REALTOR® boards and associations, and is a national and international speaker delivering topics on leadership, business, recruiting and mentoring. MacDonald spoke at the RE/MAX R4 2014 as a convention panelist on “Maximizing Office Profits,” and at the 2014 Broker/Owner Conference as aco-speaker on “Recruit to Win.” Most recently, MacDonald was the keynote and breakout speaker for the RE/MAX Broker/Owner Entrepreneur Summit in Santiago, Chile.
