Engel & Völkers, a European-based premium real estate brand, celebrated the grand opening of its first Tysons and Lansdowne shops with an exclusive ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration. The event was hosted at The Greens in the Lansdowne Town Center Pavilion, located on Promenade Drive in Leesburg, Va., and was attended by notable guests locally and from around the country. Host, Julie Brodie, owner of Neighborhood Choice Realty, a venerable real estate firm serving Tysons, Lansdowne and the surrounding communities, is the License Partner and Owner of Engel & Völkers Tysons and Lansdowne.

The event began with speeches by notable speakers honoring the occasion followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony. Speakers included Tony Howard, President of Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce; Ralph Buona, Supervisor of Ashburn District; Anthony Hitt, CEO of Engel & Völkers North America; Julie Brodie, Engel & Völkers Tysons and Lansdowne; and Michele Kasen and Anna Yanc, Global Messengers from the Special Olympics, cause marketing partner of Engel & Völkers North America. Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a cocktail hour hosted by Julie Brodie, at the Engel & Völkers Lansdowne shop.

“As Tysons and Lansdowne experience increased interest from global buyers and sellers, the official opening of both Engel & Völkers’ storefronts will represent our official, concrete presence in the Virginia marketplace,” says Hitt. “Julie has proven to be a dynamic force in the Northeast real estate landscape, and we anticipate continued success as both areas continue to rapidly grow and evolve.”

Engel & Völkers Tysons, with an ideally situated office on 404 Pine Street, S.E. in Vienna will provide leading services for buyers and sellers of premier properties in Tysons and its surrounding area. Tysons serves as a growing downtown for Fairfax County with multiple retail, restaurants and office openings. Located less than 10 miles from Washington D.C., Tysons and the surrounding towns have seen increased interest from global buyers as well as recent graduates and millennials looking to settle in the centrally-located area.

Engel & Völkers Lansdowne, located at Lansdowne Town Center in Loudoun County, will offer premier services for buyers and sellers of distinctive properties in Loudoun & Fauquier counties.  Situated in one of America’s wealthiest counties, Lansdowne’s close proximity to Washington D.C., along with its growing biomedical and technology contracting sector, continued popularity of its equestrian offerings and mix of sought-after historic and new development homes, has increasingly appealed to both local and international buyers.

“Engel & Völkers’ comprehensive network and cutting-edge tools and services have seamlessly coupled with our firm grasp of the local marketplace to best serve the diverse clientele drawn to Northern Virginia,” says Brodie. “As both Tysons and Lansdowne continue to experience unprecedented sales and growth, the real estate needs of both international and local buyers will be met with unmatched service and exclusivity.”

With the opening of shops in Atlanta, Austin, Houston, Beverly Hills, St. George, Long Beach, LA – South Bay, Minneapolis and Charlotte and, in Canada, Victoria, Calgary, Montreal, Vancouver Island, Toronto and York, Engel & Völkers continues to strengthen its presence in the premium real estate market across North America. Additionally, Engel & Völkers continues to expand throughout the United States with planned openings in several new markets.
