4 Exciting Home Features for Car Enthusiasts

Luxury homebuyers often look for real estate that caters to their hobbies and pastimes. That might mean a ski home where you can hit the slopes or a spacious wine cellar that can accommodate over a thousand bottles. For car lovers, in particular, here are a few exciting home features that are sure to get your engine going.

Multi-Car Garage
Perhaps the first thing that a car collector will look to when viewing property is the garage. After all, it’s essential to have a proper place to store and maintain your prized automobiles. These days, it’s become increasingly popular for luxury homeowners with large collections to design subterranean garages that can hold their entire fleet, sometimes even accessed via a car elevator.

Showroom
Of course, for car enthusiasts, you don’t just want a place to store your vehicles, but also show them off. That’s why showrooms are another popular feature for collectors who want to put their cars on full display like a work of art. Often, these rooms are designed to function as a place where you can also hang out or entertain, complete with seating areas, wet bars and more.

Motor Court
The logistics of using and maintaining a whole fleet of cars can get a little tricky when you have a typical driveway. A motor court, however, is a common solution to that problem, as it allows you to easily park multiple cars outside without getting blocked in. If you want to take a few cars out of the garage to be washed and waxed, for instance, it’s far easier to do so with a spacious motor court.

Car Turntable
Another way to improve the logistics of moving a whole fleet of cars around in a confined space is to install a turntable. Whether it’s located in the driveway or inside the garage, it will allow you to easily rotate a car 360-degrees, so you can easily pull out of a space without getting blocked in.
