Meeting and Exceeding Clients’ Expectations Every Step of the Way

Casandra Vann, a REALTOR® with Keller Williams Realty of Polk, has spent the last 11 years helping people in the Lakeland, Fla., area buy and sell homes. Vann was awarded the Quadruple Gold award in 2014, and as a member of her office’s Agent Leadership Council, she goes above and beyond to ensure each and every one of her clients has a first-rate buying or selling experience.

One foolproof way she continues to meet and exceed her clients’ expectations is by connecting them with home warranty plans offered through American Home Shield (AHS®) , taking the unexpected expense out of home repairs. In fact, Vann considers herself a true warranty promoter who understands both the marketing and risk management benefits associated with AHS’ home warranty plans.

In addition, Vann notes that her longstanding partnership with the company has proven to be a valuable asset—especially in today’s market.

“American Home Shield is very supportive of my business, and my clients, and is always looking for ways to help me grow my business with their support,” Vann says. “The warranty service makes the sale of my listings easier because it gives buyers peace of mind when purchasing a home.”

Deciding to partner with AHS was a no-brainer for Vann, who credits the company’s supportive and encouraging representatives with making her job easier.

“Our buyers feel protected and we can give them confidence in the purchase of their home,” Vann says. “We feel like we’re working as a team to offer the best experience for their purchase or for the sale of their home.”

And the benefits don’t stop there. New homebuyers appreciate the fact that the home warranty saves them money when a covered system or appliance needs to be repaired, and sellers understand that having a home warranty in place will ultimately help their home sell faster because of the added level of protection it affords. It’s a win/win for everyone involved.

“It’s important for us to offer American Home Shield home warranties to our clients because it’s an extension of the service that our team offers, completing the customer experience,” Vann says. “I have a home warranty on my home, so I personally advocate it as well.”

Not only has working with AHS made her job easier throughout the years, Vann goes on to explain that having an AHS warranty in place safeguards buyers and sellers alike from unforeseen events.

For example, Vann once sold a bank-owned property only to learn that its air conditioning wire had been cut the day of the closing. Thanks to the AHS protection, Vann wasn’t worried at all about it affecting the sale.

“American Home Shield was out there the same day and fixed the wire for only the service call fee. What could have been an expensive repair for the new homeowner was taken care of swiftly so that they could move into their home.”
