ReferralExchange Takes the Referral Process to a Whole, New Level

For Mike Hobbs, CEO of Metes & Bounds Realty in Camarillo, Calif., gone are the days of helping clients outside of his market area by sitting in front of the computer searching for a quality real estate professional. In fact, when it comes to referring clients out today, Hobbs leaves all the work to ReferralExchange—the nation’s largest real estate referral service.

Working with ReferralExchange, Hobbs has been able to refer clients and leads outside his preferred price point, area, or property type into a nationwide network of 13,000+ hand-selected REALTORS®from large and boutique brokerages covering 91 percent of the U.S. ReferralExchange handles the entire process—from matching the clients to 3 agents—to handling all of the paperwork, follow-up, and processing.

“Knowing that I have the resources to send someone to another entity that has vetted individuals, was one of the qualifiers I used in determining that ReferralExchange was the right fit for me,” says Hobbs, who goes on to explain that he’s constantly being approached by other companies looking to bring him on board. “What truly impressed me about ReferralExchange was the fact that not only did they tell me about all the great things they could do for me, they also vetted me to determine whether I was a good fit for them.”

Having joined in May 2015, Hobbs has seen great success when it comes to both sending and receiving leads with ReferralExchange, closing four referrals. “I have a few other slow cookers out there,” says Hobbs, “and I recently had an agent contact me to get some additional information about a client that was sent through the system.”

While ReferralExchange has been instrumental in providing Hobbs’ small boutique brokerage with a national presence, the benefits don’t end there. When it comes to the clients themselves, Hobbs notes that he hasn’t heard a single complaint. “It goes back to the quality of agents involved in both ReferralExchange,” says Hobbs, “and the fact that they’ve been vetted to a standard that ensuresthe client is being referred to agents who are serious about the business.”

For big brands and small brands alike, there shouldn’t be any hesitation in partnering with ReferralExchange, notes Hobbs. “Not only will they help small brands increase their national presence, working with ReferralExchange doesn’t impact or take away from your loyalty to your own brand if you’re with a large company,” a true testament to the network’s adaptability across the board.

“I haven’t experienced any issues in working with ReferralExchange,” concludes Hobbs. “From the beginning, the team has been very responsive and accurate with the information they’ve provided.”
