This San Diego Luxury Estate Has Its Own Lazy River

San_Diego_lazy_riverWe’re going to say that again: it has its own lazy river!

This Mediterranean-style Poway, Calif. estate (more photos below) located in the Maderas Golf Club is its own luxury resort and home all in one. In addition to floating around their own compound, its new buyers can go to work in their on-site gym or hit the basketball court or full-sized baseball field without ever leaving their San Diego County casa.

Located just 20 minutes from the beach communities of La Jolla and Del Mar, (and just 30 minutes from three airports) the estate at 18880 Old Coach Way encapsulates the best of the area’s luxury amenities and active outdoor lifestyle. It houses nine bedrooms (six in the main home plus three in the guest house and stable), nine bathrooms, and a six car-garage. Owners can entertain guests in rooms with 30-foot ceilings, or in the over-sized kitchen and sumptuous bedrooms with more than 18,600 square feet of living space. There’s an equally impressive guesthouse, and incomparable indoor/outdoor living areas showcasing spectacular views with a wrap-around lanai, infinity-edge pool, waterfall, spa, water slide and…did we mention the lazy river!?

This place is seriously like an adult playground. Sequestered behind the guarded entry gates of a prestigious private enclave and positioned high on a hillside, the estate enjoys expansive views of the surrounding valleys from every window with no neighbors or development in sight. This privacy is a rarity, especially considering the proximity to some dazzling California amenities; the estate is just 20 minutes from the world-class shopping, dining, entertainment and culture found in Del Mar, La Jolla and downtown San Diego.

But interested buyers better hustle – the home will be sold via auction on Feb. 23, if not sold prior. Bidding will start at $3.2 million.
