I’ve seen lots of elaborate listing videos in my days, but never has one stumped me quite as much as the latest video put out by “real estate brokerage” Huge Property Corp (mind the quotes, here).
In this elaborate music video, pop star Carly Rae Jepsen poses as buyer while producer/composer Danny L Harle acts as a real estate agent. Together they cruise a sterile-looking staged house while Jepsen croons to the duo’s new song “Super Natural.” The pool is sparkling, there is kale on the counter, a sweaty, sexy man pumping iron in the living room, and a strangely large amount of refreshing-looking drinks – what more could you want?
As Carly sings in her song, “This isn’t normal, not at all,” I couldn’t help but thinking the same.
Is this a music video for Jepsen or a legit listing video? At first I had no idea. After heading over to Huge Property Corp’s website it turns out, I still have no idea. The website states that that music producer Harle, the star of the video and creator of the pop song, is also the “CEO and founder” of Huge Property Corp—whose name in itself reads like a parody. But there are no properties listed on the site, just a list of not-quite-funny #testimonial tweets congratulating Danny with lots of HUGE, SUPER NATURAL puns. Clearly this landing page is just part of the rouse.
Regardless of what is going on here, the house goes from For Sale to Sold in the length of the video, so I guess everyone had a good time. How could you not, with so much green juice in the fridge?
