The Keyes Family of Companies Completes Second Brokerage Acquisition in Two Months

Illustrated Properties of The Keyes Family of Companies has completed another brokerage acquisition, this time adding Palm Beach County Realty Group of Boynton Beach. This marks the seventh brokerage acquired by Keyes and its Family of Companies in the past year.

Led by Robert Sauer, Jr. and Mary Prince, Palm Beach County Realty Group brings 23 agents to Illustrated’s Manalapan office. The firm was founded in 2011 and generated a 2017 sales volume of more than $20 million.

The move was officially announced on Wednesday, June 13.

Sauer, Jr., who launched the firm, has longstanding ties to the Palm Beach County real estate industry. His father started Robert R. Sauer Realty in Boca Raton in 1962.

“After meeting with Keyes CEO Mike Pappas and Senior Vice President Steven Reibel, it became clear to us that Illustrated would give our agents the support, dedication and vision they need to grow their business,” Sauer, Jr. explains. “We know that by joining forces with the No. 1 independent brokerage in Florida, we will all succeed.”

Prince joined the firm after managing Coldwell Banker’s Delray Beach office for 12 years. The firm covers Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Lake Worth, Manalapan, the island of Palm Beach and West Palm Beach.

“The addition of Palm Beach County Realty Group and the firm’s talented agents to our family is another example of the tremendous impact we have enjoyed from our 2016 alliance with Illustrated Properties,” Pappas says. “We continue to pursue the right expansion opportunities throughout South Florida, the Keys and the Treasure Coast.”

Last month, Keyes announced the acquisition of Stuart-based firm The Real Estate Company, Inc. The 25-agent firm generated a 2017 sales volume of more than $40 million.

During the first quarter of 2018, Keyes announced the acquisition of Aventura-based Rickenback Realty. Inc. and Boynton Beach-based The Realty Pros. The moves added a combined 68 agents to the firm.
