The Weichert Family of Companies has named Claudine Tahan-Tunbakji president of Weichert Referral Associates. In this role, she will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives focusing on the continued growth of the business and managing the company’s day-to-day operations.
Tahan-Tunbakji joins Weichert with 30 years of referral and relocation experience, most recently with Realogy Holdings Corp. in the role of vice president of Referral Services for NRT LLC.

Tahan-Tunbakji has achieved many successful milestones in her career, including leading a team to win the Cendant (now Cartus) Mobility Cup and Masters Cup, awarded for demonstrating quality standards, surpassing goals and providing outstanding service in the industry. She hopes to meet and exceed this same level of achievement at Weichert.

A graduate of Rutgers University, Tahan-Tunbakji is a Certified Relocation Professional®, Global Mobility Specialist® and Certified International Property Specialist.
Tahan-Tunbakji is a lifelong resident of Wayne, N.J., where she lives with her husband, Samer, and daughter, Faith. She is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, as well as relaxing at the beach. Tahan-Tunbakji is an active member of her local church, lending her time as a youth group advisor and religious education teacher. She also volunteers for the church’s annual festival and Tim Tebow’s Night to Shine prom night event for persons with special needs.
