Julie Tran—by every measure an incredibly accomplished, outstanding agent in her market (with dozens of prestigious awards to her name)—took a further step in 2021 to spearhead the kind of work that can truly change lives.

Working with local community partners and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ IMPACT Council, she organized a “Journey to Homeownership” event focused on Asian and Pacific Islander families, connecting people with assistance and educational programs to help bring them closer to the dream of homeownership.

With a food tasting featuring dishes from different Asian countries and cultures, Tran created a fun experience that made a serious difference in her community.

Inspired by former First Lady Michelle Obama, Tran seeks to prioritize making an impact on people’s lives.
